During the last year, our nation was engaged in a spirited and much needed debate about health care.

Throughout these debates, I argued for real healthcare reform that gives all Americans access to quality and affordable care. Unfortunately, a massive Democrat approved government takeover of health care was pushed through Congress. A government takeover of our health care system is not the answer and this law must be repealed and replaced with true and meaningful reform.

Spending over $1 trillion of your money, Obamacare breaks the bank, raises your taxes, increases premiums, opens the door to a government takeover of our personal and private health care choices and cuts Medicare programs without doing anything to contain costs.

The new government mandates in Obamacare threaten jobs, reduce wages and stunt economic growth. Plain and simple, Obamacare is a job killer.

I support a common sense, fiscally responsible health reform proposal—not Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s 2,000+ page government takeover of 1/6th of our nation’s economy. That plan lowers premiums for working families and small businesses, fights fraud, and will lead to expanded access to affordable health care coverage for all Americans without raising taxes, cutting benefits to seniors or spending money we don’t have.
